How to Play

Place one pup in every coloured region. Three rules: 1 pup per colour, 1 per row & column, and pups can't touch. No guessing, just logic.

The Rules

🎨 1 pup per colour

Each coloured region gets exactly one pup. Once placed, the rest of that colour is ruled out.

↕️ 1 per row & column

No two pups can share a row or column. Placing one wipes out the entire line in both directions.

🚫 Pups can't touch

Pups need their space. All 8 surrounding cells are off limits, including diagonals.

Controls

Tap a cell to mark it with an X and rule it out

Double-tap a cell to place a pup there

Drag across multiple cells to quickly rule out an area

Tap an X'd cell again to clear it

Bones and Points

You start each puzzle with three bones 🦴🦴🦴. A wrong placement costs one bone. Lose all three and the puzzle resets.

Earn points for every correct placement, with bonuses for speed and solving without mistakes.

Tools

Below the puzzle board you'll find two tools to help when you're stuck:

Pup Power automatically places a pup in a correct spot for you. Great for getting unstuck on tricky boards.

💡

Hint highlights cells you can safely rule out based on the current board state. It shows you what logic to apply next.

Each tool has a limited number of uses per puzzle, shown by the badge on the icon.

Start with the region, row, or column that has the fewest open cells. Rule out the impossible spots first, and the answer will reveal itself.

Difficulty

Puzzles start at 4×4 and grow up to 10×10. Early puzzles auto-eliminate cells after each placement to help you learn. By puzzle 4, you're on your own!
